under punkt 20 står det... 20. Turn the crankshaft until the 1/4 timing mark on the outside edge of the flywheel is at TDC position. The slot in the crankshaft and flywheel should now be horizontal. It is essential that the crankshaft be correctly positioned before attempting to remove the flywheel as the 'C' shaped washer which locates the crankshaft primary gear will then be positioned with its open side downwards and thus be unable to drop out. If this precaution is not observed, the 'C' washer may fall out of position and cause severe damage and/or possibly make it impossible to remove the flywheel.
på svenska står det väl ungefär.. hästskobrickan hoppar loss bakom svänghjulet när du bankar å värmer å svär över hur hårt ett svänghjul sitter... när brickan hoppar loss så sätter den sig på "halvläge" och spärrar dig från att ta bort svänghjul!

Har gjort en egen avdragare för att få lös svänghjulet. Läste i pdf-filen jag fick att 1/4-markeringen skulle vara "3 o´clock" så jag har utgått efter det när jag slitit med avdragen och provat banka i mitten på avdragaren utan att hjulet har lossnat. Sedan undersökte jag om ettans cylinder verkligen låg i övre döläge när 1/4-markeringen var på klockan 3, vilket det inte gjorde. markeringen skulle då vara ställd på kl 12, delvis rakt upp. Testade med det läge men även där utan framgång. Är orolig för att c-brickan har kommit på sniskan och låst hjulet men samtidigt så har inte hjulet rubbats någonting alls då jag försökt få lös den. Det går dock att "rucka" nån mm fram och tillbaka på hjulet om man tar i med händerna.
