They pop up on Blocket now and then, you know the ones who make false / misinformed claims ( and often prices) about theri for sale minis.

Spotted this 98 MPI (standard, not even sportspack), claiming it is a Cooper S with 85 BHp.

Out of the factory this car claimed to make 63 Bhp, but i guess, now it might have a new cylinder head, cam etc, but i doubt it.

These adds annoy me a little!

On ebay, I usually contact people to ask a few questions and make a few pointers. I hate seeing people getting screwed over and with ebay, you can always report the seller for misinformation and you can also do this with Blocket from what I remember. But, it is always the responsibility of the buyer to make sure they know their stuff.

Mitt fall var det mest menat som ironi.
Att det fanns rost på bilen och ironiskt skrev jag att den är ju engelsk .

Kan ju vara ett trimkit från någon Engelsk firma. Tex John Cooper sålde sådant under många år(30-40?), Antingen gjordes konverteringen i hans verkstad eller så låg allt i en prydlig trälåda som passade i baksätet.

I thought it may have been a trim kit or option as you mention. below is when these options were available 1999 - onwards. I could be wrong though!
