Changing from 13" wheels to 10" - problems at besiktning tim
When i change my wheels down to 10 inch am i going to have any problems at the besktning?

Speedometer will not read correct. And what about the gearbox? Gear ratio?

You have to change the calipers and discs to 7,5. There is a kit available from Mini Spares.

I am going for 7.9" discs and calipers, A bit less hassle to fit than the 7.5" cooper s set up. As they use the same flanges as the 8.4" set up.
My final drive is 3.21:1 (which is the same as metro turbo and japanese SPI), not sure why my car has this, but according to the engine code (12A2Ek71) it does. I can see that the duration of acceleration is longer with 10's compared to 13's but teh top speed in each gear is lower.

Well, should not really. As I understand the only thing they should bother about is the circumference does not deviate more than +/- 5% from the diameter the car is typed for.

Most 10 inch wheels fit, the ones which don't tend to be "older" styles. Minisport also do a vented 7.9" disc.
